Meet the founder

Sarah E. Knicely

Sarah is the founder and lead designer of Dogwood Design, a full-service interior design firm located outside of Charlottesville, VA. Known for clean and modern designs, with hints of rustic charm, Dogwood Design offers a full range of interior design services including:

Master planning of new home construction
Renovations
Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
Furniture procurement

With more than a decade of professional experience, Sarah holds a Fine Arts Degree from James Madison University with a focus on Interior Design.

She is an American Society of Interior Designers associate member, and her work has appeared in the regional Southern Living Showcase house, Shelter for Help and Emergency Design House and the Southern Living Idea House for 2015.
